Joe Brizek is a proud, lifelong New Jerseyan--save a one-year detour in Tennessee. Raised in an enormous Fair Lawn family inside a cramped Cape Cod, he now lives with his wife (and lunatic dog) in the split-level where he brought up his much smaller brood of "only four." Though the opening two-thirds of his career brought him through corporate America, then to owning a small business, he never lost his first love: storytelling.

From the time his children clamored for attention, to their elementary school victories, to college friends and significant others coming to visit, Brizek never tires of entertaining whoever is at the dinner table while spinning yarns from his youth.

He is dedicating this last, and best, third of his career, to where it all started in his early twenties--writing. Following the release of his debut memoir, A Catholic Kid from a Jewish Neighborhood, Brizek is currently at work on his next book, Out of School and Into the World.
